Macallan Reflexion
The Product Brief
Part of The Macallan Masters Decanter Series created to showcase the beautiful range of The Macallan’s natural colour, Reflexion embodies the foremost influence of first fill sherry seasoned oak casks. The Reflexion is a bold and full bodied single malt with an intense natural colour.
For the bottle, the Stoelzle design team drew inspiration from three varying Macallan decanters. The Reflexion decanter needed to be very heavy, requiring a thick base and sharp edges to accentuate the facets, which are very much a styling cue on many of the high-end Macallan. The bottle neck carries a distinctive gold collar, which required it to be tightly controlled in order to enable the two halves of the collar to be fitted on site at Stoelzle Flaconnage.
