Merser and Co glass bottle design

The Bottle Design of

Merser & Co Double Barrel

The Product Brief

WE TOOK AN ORIGINAL CONCEPT CREATED BY STRANGER&STRANGER AND DEVELOPED THE STRUCTURE INTO A PRODUCTION-READY GLASS PACK.

The prominent Hayman family has a long history in the London rum trade, sourcing stock from the West Indian docks for many generations. Their wish to bring the long-lost craft of rum blending back to London was met with a need to find a bottle fine enough to reflect this venture.

For this project we used innovative decoration techniques such as glass debossing and embossing as well as a unique surface pattern.

Textured glass and embossing around the bottle’s neck are two special decorative touches that work perfectly together for a premium finish.
